Scaling up production of personal protective equipment (PPE) by manufacturers will take time — maybe weeks or months — during which the corona virus will continue to spread. That’s why the PPE that is already out there needs to be reprioritized for doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers.

Members of communities nationwide have been stepping up to donate the PPE they already have and are not able to use currently e.g. construction companies donating their N95 masks, hair and nail salons donating gloves, dental offices donating surgical masks, etc.

Your PPE donations are gathered daily by Frontline Donations and are taken to the hospitals in need. (Hospital drop-offs are done once a day to prevent the hospital from becoming inundated with many micro donations).
